After the hemp ban went into effect here in CA, my regular CBD company stopped shopping here and I was left with nothing. I bought a tincture from my local dispensary but it tasted like I was chewing on a pot plant.
I decided to try my hand at making my own oil and it couldn’t be easier. It’s much cheaper and it only takes a couple minutes.
My anxiety and joint pain are both back under control.

This thc-a isolate is very good and exceptional after I decarbed and infused in honey. I am in the dark a bit of its sourcing and they have documented testing, but from 2024 and not recent. Also asked if it was sourced from saliva, indica, or hemp and never got a answer. I do know that it does help me relax and go to sleep at night.
I love it always- hopefully the BILL dose not go through.

Affordable quality. I wish the jar had a better lid with an insert to keep it tight but it’s okay.
4/5 because it’s what it says on the tin and seems of good quality. It is a runny oil that smells very faintly of rubber (not at all of vinegar), tastes less faintly of rubber (reminiscent of balloons?), and is almost exactly the same shade of yellow as my jar of amber d8, if the slightest bit lighter. There was no particulate in the jar, and the oil is uniform. Arrived well-sealed with no leakage. Effects took longer to manifest than with d8/d9, and the way those effects felt, as well as the manner in which they ramped up, seemed similar to edible thc preparations.
Personally, however, I am not a huge fan of this product, and feel that I bought way too much of it, especially when normal hhc is available for slightly cheaper and doesn’t degrade into vinegar over time. The effects were present and real, but they were not quite the effects I was looking for. I found them to be personally underwhelming, partially due to tolerance, but also due to a personal preference against edible-style effects.
For those intending to vaporize this product in any manner, be sure to look into the research on cannabinoid acetates possibly producing dangerous byproducts when heated, and make an informed decision about that yourself. Also, if you store it long-term, I believe the degradation of o-noids produces acetic acid/vinegar, so be sure to give it a sniff instead of assuming it’s still fine just because it was fine before. No idea on timeline, though.
Overall, solid product as advertised, seems good quality. I’m just not a huge fan of it. I would recommend non-acetate hhc over this for cost:effect and safety reasons unless you’re a fan of o-noids specifically. If you haven’t tried them before, I would suggest researching them and getting a small jar of this before a larger one in case you decide you don’t really like it.
Interesting and worth having tried just to check it out, but not something I plan on using regularly.
